Coming Up: Pancake Day and Super Soup Day PDF Print E-mail

Don't forget Pancake Day next Tuesday 16 February - serve in your restaurant, at farmers' markets, or compile a display using the ingredients with recipe and ideas for fillings.

New this year is Super Soup Day, on Friday 26 March. It's an event organised by Christian Aid to help fight global poverty and injustice.

You can get involved by:
- Selling a promotional soup through your farm shop cafe for the day, with proceeds going to the charity,
- Creating a soup to sell through the farm shop or at the farmers' market that week/month?
- Using recipe cards and leaflets to encourage customers to create their own soups and host soup parties (recipes available from the charitiy's website)
- Participate in the Super Soup Awards, with prizes for the most innovative flavours, or for drawing the most crowds to your soup event.
